Finest Barathea Wool Double Breasted Dinner Suit

I am a repeat customer, having purchased a morning coat, trousers and dove gray vest, and Marcella shirt earlier this year. I just received the all wool barathea double breasted dinner suit and it is wonderful. I am very fortunate to be able to wear off the peg 42L and the jacket fits as well as a MTM or bespoke. The quality is very good and should provide years of service. There may be sources here in the US that would serve, but for Clermont's quality, value, fast delivery and helpful service after the sale, I have no reason to seek anyone else. Best, Phil

I ordered this in 38L and it was a very generous fit in my opinion. I returned it and got a 36L which fitted well. I am 6'5 with 6'5 arms and the suit in 36L fits fine on the arms and up to the top of the thumb on the body. The returns process was good. I recieved an email telling me that the jacket had arrived and was despatched with the right size within one hour maybe of it arriving(royal mail tracked). I did not get my invoice back with the return so I lost my proof of purchase for the other items in my order. The jacket returned first class even though the original came second class though I had to pay for postage to get it there. For the supposed quality (I do not know enough about fabrics or cut) the price is very good, as are most things on this site. A similarly priced 100% wool or barathea peaked or shawl lapel single breasted would have been much appreciated instead of notch lapels. Considering the price and speedy turnaround with fast delivery (and free cloth suit bag!) I am very pleased.

Excellent Service, Excellent quality material. Enough Hemming and allowances for one to make alterations if need be. I am in Malawi, so returns may not be as easy. I appreciate that. I always buy formal wear from Clermont Direct every 5 years or so. Will continue to do so.

Very good value, although I think it could be taken in at the waist a bit more. I find it a bit 'boxy'. I prefer a more fitted style like Buckleigh. I will get a local tailor to take in at waist, I think.
