Morning Coat & Poly-Wool Stripe Trousers

I ordered a Dinner Suit Package last week and want to say how pleased I am with the quality and service I have received. Delivery was 3 days after I placed the order and there were no quibbles when I had to return the shirt as I ordered the wrong size. I received a replacement before I had even returned the wrong size. Firt class service.

I received my morning suit and trousers this morning (Monday) after having ordered them on Thursday afternoon and having chosen to pay £4.95 for 1-3 working day delivery (the postman actually tried to deliver them on Saturday morning!). Excellent service with regard to delivery timescales; Saturday being not a working day by most people's standards. First impressions are that sizing advice was spot on; it fits perfectly. The jacket is of a flattering cut (me being on the portly side), and larger gentlemen will appreciate that it is designed in such a way as to draw the eye away from the mid-riff and towards the shoulders. Both the jacket and trousers appear well-made - although time will tell. I was particularly impressed by the weight of fabric used in the trousers - trousers often being considered an afterthought and much neglected as a result. At £159 it compares favourably to hire costs; if you wear it to three weddings (or other occasions) in your life you'll have made your money back. There are more expensive morning coats you can buy, using things like Barathea wool, but I haven't seen anything else that compares to Clermont for so excellent a ratio between price and quality. I could only give it 4/5 because I haven't yet had it long enough to put its quality of workmanship to the test, and this review is based purely on first impressions after having received it only an hour ago.
