I ordered a new Toastmaster jacket from you on 28 June having been delighted with products purchased from you in the past. As usual, the item arrived very promptly and, on initial inspection, appeared to be in perfect order. However, upon closer examination the day after receipt, I noticed a small black fleck on the right lapel although, as my mother used to say, "A blind man would be pleased to see it!" Nevertheless, I was conscious of the blemish and, as such, thought I would not feel totally comfortable when performing Toastmaster duties. Accordingly, I emailed your Returns Department and received a very swift response from Lisa Giddings apologising for the fault in the garment (which was hardly a major problem!!) and promising to despatch a replacement item. Not surprisingly, the following day a 'new' jacket arrived at my address in pristine condition!! I know that we're all probably guilty of complaining about 'customer service' which, sadly, has generally deteriorated in recent years. However, the purpose of my email is to, once again, not only congratulate Clermont Direct on their superb service but, more especially, put on record my sincere thanks and appreciation to Lisa for the thoroughly professional and dedicated manner in which she conducted herself.
